POWER ANIMAL: GUIDED INTERACTIVE EMPOWERMENT MEDITATION
Paralounge Drum Gathering, Pierson FL
Please join Painted Raven, the Native American flute and world music band, for an empowerment journey. This meditation is inspired by the Native American Medicine wheel, in which each of the 4 directions is symbolized by a powerful animal. Connect with feelings of empowerment as you imagine being Eagle, Coyote, Bear and Buffalo in this cycle of life adventure. You will be guided to embrace the strengths of each animal according to Native culture, as well as mindfulness concepts, as the healing sounds of the live Native American flutes carry you through your journey. You may chose to experience this meditation as an interactive participant by following along with Native hand drums (a limited number of Drums will be provided) or simply close your eyes and receive this empowering experience.

BEGINNING YOUR JOURNEY WITH THE NATIVE AMERICAN FLUTE
Paralounge Drum Gathering, Pierson FL
Join Painted Raven, the Native American flute and world music band, for a beginner's workshop on how to play the beautiful Native American Flute. We encourage approaching this ancient instrument by learning to play from your heart. You will learn basic flute technique, scale, note patterns, and flute ornaments (skills to help you make your playing unique). You will have an opportunity to create your very first song. Flutes will be provided for the workshop, and flute vendors will be available if you would like to purchase a flute. Hope to see you there!

We will be vending at Flutocopia. This fun, one-day flute workshop and concert will be led by Clint Goss, Vera Shanov, and Peter Dubner, and hosted by Tom and Gail Ransom of the Riverwind Flute Circle. Painted Raven will be vending throughout the Daytime Playshop sessions 9:30 to 5:00, and before and after the 6:00 evening concert.
